Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment signs deals with FanDuel and PokerStars

Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment, the owners of the Toronto NBA and NHL teams, has signed a deal with sportsbook FanDuel and online gaming site PokerStars.
This deal has named FanDuel as the official sports betting partner of MSLE and PokerStars will be their official gaming partner. Both operators have the chance to offer entertainment options to the new players in Ontario and will be able to use MSLE in their advertising programs.
In return, both brands will appear on screens and other marketing in Toronto

Raptors and Toronto Maple Leaf's games, and will be able to work deals with other Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment teams.
FanDuel has already received an Ontario license, while PokerStars still awaits certifications from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.

“As we bring FanDuel to Ontario, we want to collaborate with globally recognized enterprises like MLSE to bring unique content experiences to some of Canada’s most dedicated sports fans.”
PokerStars marketing director, Tom Warren, added: “We have epic plans for our community in Canada, and are excitedly looking forward to creating some incredible experiences in our birth country when we launch very soon.

“Partnering with MLSE allows us to reach passionate fans across Ontario with a wide remit of poker and casino, heighten experiences wherever we can, and be a part of some major winning moments.”
